JIM HALL MEMORIAL
MAY TROUT CLASSIC
“Keeping a tight line” in beautiful
Big Bear Lake, CA
It is with regret, again, that we cannot bring you the Jim Hall Memorial May Trout Classic for 2016. The litigation continues from the incident that occurred in 2013. We have depleted our funds defending this unfortunate incident.
The enthusiasm we have for continuing our mission of maintaining Big Bear Lake as a premium trout fishery has not diminished.
We do have great news for you. The Big Bear Municipal Water District is organizing a trout tournament and Jason Hall will be the volunteer director. It will remain family oriented, and staffed by volunteers. There will still be a large fish plant, money prizes for the top nine (9) places, hats for the entrants, prizes, and a promised fun filled Awards Ceremony.
We are proud that the MWD wants to call this “The Hall Family May Trout Classic”, and it will be held on May 14th & 15th.
You will be receiving applications directly from them. So, stay tuned for all the new information.
We’re excited about this new event and continuing the fishing tournaments that are beneficial for the lake, the anglers and the overall economy of the Valley.
Keep a tight line,
The Hall Family
Jason Hall, Volunteer Director
The Big Bear Municipal Water District just put an application for their tournament on their website. Here’s a link so you can join in the fun!
